I'm pleasantly surprised with this organic Aroeira honey. It has a rich, complex flavor with a light sweetness and a floral note. The texture is super smooth and creamy. The consistency is nice and fairly thick. I tried it straight from the jar and it was wonderful. It tastes great on toast and in teas as well. This comes in a heavy glass jar with a metal lid, neckband-wrapped and bubble-wrapped. Certified organic, raw and pure. Overall, I really like this honey and would recommend giving it a try. A little pricey for a 8.47 oz. jar though.

I've had many types of honey in the past, but this was my first experience with Bracatinga honey. It apparently has some things in common with Manuka honey in that it has a higher nutrient density and unique properties based on the bees that create it collecting nectar from the Bracatinga tree blossoms. It is a much darker and thicker honey than most that I've tried before, but it is still liquid (it's not creamed for thickness). The texture is very smooth and velvety. The flavor has the honey taste you'd expect with more intensity and a finishing flavor which is hard to describe. Unlike Manuka honey, which can have a medicinal or herbal finish, this has a slightly "fermented" finishing flavor which is unique, but not unpleasant. It is less aromatic than conventional honey, but has a stronger flavor so you don't need to use much of it to get the taste.This is, undoubtedly, very good quality honey with a high concentration of nutrients. It's not something that you consume just for the sweetening properties. That makes the question of value for money harder to consider since you're paying a bit more, but you're getting something which acts as a supplement as well as food. I found that it was really enjoyable when I added it to tea and I felt better about using it than something like sugar or conventional honey.

This is an awesome tasting honey! The flavor is sweet, but not as sweet as most honey, and it has a delicate floral taste that reminded my granddaughter of honeysuckle. We both thought the flavor was much better than regular honey, and way better than any store bought honey we've ever had too. This Aroeira honey is darker, more of an amber color, but not as dark as Manuka honey (although it has some of the same great health benefits of that type of honey). Aroeira honey has helpful antimicrobial, antioxidant, and gastrointestinal properties, and a higher concentration of phenolic compounds than other types of honey. It's a bit thicker than regular honey, yet still pourable, and and unlike regular honey, this one never crystallizes at room temperature! This honey tastes great straight from the jar, but it's also wonderful in my coffee, on toast, or however else I use it. It isn't cheap by any means but It's health benefits are similar to Manuka honey's yet it tastes SO much better that I'd gladly get this instead of that or regular honey any day!

This Bracatinga honey has a unique flavor and feels high quality. It is less sweet with a more molasses or caramelized flavor. The scent also resembles molasses candy. It is a thinner consistency that I expected, still syrupy and smooth but runs off the spoon faster than clover honey. Was excellent drizzled over cheese - as it imparted not just sweetness but additional flavor. Was amazing on sharp cheddar. It's a bit pricey, so something for special occasions.
