Aroeira Blossom Organic Honey - 8.47 oz

This is not your average grocery-store honey. The flavor is rich, floral, and slightly herbal — perfect for tea, baking, or drizzling over yogurt. This honey is exceptional! I was a little concerned that it would be too strong and dark due to the color, but it drizzles on nicely and has a sweet flowery taste, a lot like honeysuckle honey. I wasn't really familiar with aroeira blossom, so I read up on it. It makes sense that this would be so light given what the bees feed on! The color is a dark amber, but it belies what it truly is. It smells absolutely delicious. It's a bit expensive at $29.99 (at time of review), but if one considers it medicinal for it's antioxidant properties, it's well worth it.

I'm pleasantly surprised with this organic Aroeira honey. It has a rich, complex flavor with a light sweetness and a floral note. The texture is super smooth and creamy. The consistency is nice and fairly thick. I tried it straight from the jar and it was wonderful. It tastes great on toast and in teas as well. This comes in a heavy glass jar with a metal lid, neckband-wrapped and bubble-wrapped. Certified organic, raw and pure. Overall, I really like this honey and would recommend giving it a try. A little pricey for a 8.47 oz. jar though.

This is an awesome tasting honey! The flavor is sweet, but not as sweet as most honey, and it has a delicate floral taste that reminded my granddaughter of honeysuckle. We both thought the flavor was much better than regular honey, and way better than any store bought honey we've ever had too. This Aroeira honey is darker, more of an amber color, but not as dark as Manuka honey (although it has some of the same great health benefits of that type of honey). Aroeira honey has helpful antimicrobial, antioxidant, and gastrointestinal properties, and a higher concentration of phenolic compounds than other types of honey. It's a bit thicker than regular honey, yet still pourable, and and unlike regular honey, this one never crystallizes at room temperature! This honey tastes great straight from the jar, but it's also wonderful in my coffee, on toast, or however else I use it. It isn't cheap by any means but It's health benefits are similar to Manuka honey's yet it tastes SO much better that I'd gladly get this instead of that or regular honey any day!

This is another fantastic Brazilian honey from K&A! I’m having some in my afternoon maté & it’s sooooo ridiculously good!! Sweet, but not sickening so. The textures is smooth & beautifully thick & it has a nice light amber color. The taste is like a creamy, floral & almost candy-like. Oh & it smells divine!The glass jar came perfectly sealed & padded perfectly, so it arrived unscathed. I very much appreciate that it’s certified USDA organic, has a clear lot number & generous expiration date on the label.It’s an insanely good quality honey from Brazil that I can surely recommend. Really enjoying the taste of this one!
